Product Description
CASTEL 6570/7A Ball Valve with Service Port – 7/8", 22mm, soldered
Castel 6570/7A is the Classic Line ball valve version equipped with an additional service port (Access Port). This allows a technician to connect a gauge or service station directly at any point in the system — without disassembling the circuit or venting refrigerant. Same ODS soldered 7/8" (22 mm) connection, same leak-tightness and pressure rating as model 6570/7, but with real time savings during every service check.
Key features and benefits
- Integrated service port (Access Port) – allows quick connection of a gauge or service manifold; eliminates the need to install separate Schrader valves in the system, shortening service time and reducing potential leak points.
- Full-bore ball (O 19 mm) – minimal flow resistance (Kv = 29 m3/h), maintaining system efficiency even at high refrigerant flow rates.
- ODS soldered 22 mm connection – durable gas-tight joint to the pipeline, resistant to vibrations and shocks typical for compressors.
- Operating pressure PS 45 bar (600 psi) – approved for use in high-pressure systems with R410A and low-GWP blends.
- Temperature range –40°C ÷ +150°C – suitable from deep-freezing applications to industrial air conditioning.
- Compliance with ASHRAE 34:2019 (A1 class) – ready for use with current and future low-GWP HFO refrigerants.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 6570/7A valve and the standard 6570/7 model?
The 6570/7A model is identical in hydraulic and pressure parameters to the 6570/7 model, but it includes an additional service port (Access Port). It allows a gauge or service station to be connected directly to the valve without shutting down and evacuating the system.
What is the purpose of the service port (Access Port)?
The Access Port allows service equipment — gauges, charging stations, refrigerant recovery units — to be connected directly at the valve location. It shortens service intervention time and eliminates the need to install separate Schrader valves.
What is the maximum operating pressure of the 6570/7A valve?
The operating pressure (PS) is 45 bar (600 psi according to UL approval), which is fully sufficient for systems using R410A and newer low-GWP blends.
What temperature range does this valve operate in?
The valve is designed to operate from –40°C to +150°C, covering both deep-freezing applications and industrial air conditioning.
Is the 6570/7A valve compatible with new low-GWP HFO refrigerants?
Yes. The valve is certified for use with HFO+HFC blends such as R448A, R449A, R452A, R513A, R515A and R515B, making it suitable for systems adapted to current F-gas regulations.
How should the Castel 6570/7A valve be installed?
The valve has a 7/8" (22 mm) ODS soldered connection. Installation requires hard soldering with silver brazing alloy, following standard refrigeration installation procedures.
