Resistance heating cable – 12 Ω/m (silicone)
The resistance heating cable C1S – 12 Ω/m is a high-quality, flexible heating conductor made from resistance wire wound around a glass-fibre core and encapsulated in high-temperature silicone insulation. It is suitable for applications requiring frost protection, temperature stabilization or heating of technical, industrial or refrigeration installation elements — depending on the project and user requirements.
Thanks to thermal resistance up to 180°C and suitability for operation in damp environments (IP64), the cable can be used in drip trays, supply pipes, industrial installations, cold rooms and anti-condensation systems.
Main features
- Constant linear resistance: 12 Ω/m.
- Silicone insulation resistant to temperatures up to 200°C.
- Construction: resistance wire wound on a glass-fibre core.
- Silicone-insulated version with metal protective screen available.
- High flexibility – easy mounting on pipes and surfaces.
- Suitable for damp environments – degree of protection IP64.
- Maximum operating temperature: 180°C, minimum: -40°C.
- VDE certified and compliant with EN 60335-1 and EN 50106 standards.
