Copper brazing alloy Castolin RB 5286 Ag 5% 2mm 1kg

RB 5286 is a self-fluxing alloy for capillary brazing of copper and its alloys, ideal for heat exchangers used in cooling processes and gas installations. The Cu P Ag solder alloy contains 5% silver (Ag), which significantly improves the fluidity of the solder and the penetration of the joint by the molten material, ensuring water- and gas-tight connections.

Castolin RB 5286 solder is intended for capillary soldering of copper and its alloys, including bronze and brass. It can be used both for joining closely fitting elements and for brazing joints with a larger solder gap. When soldering copper alloys, it is recommended to use fluxes, e.g. 181 Atmosi.
