The EKC 202 series of controllers is used in many areas of refrigeration - from air temperature control and defrost to more advanced applications, including lighting and fan control. The controller can operate in a network.

Functions:

thermostat

• two-state thermostat (ON/OFF) with heating or cooling function
• sensors: Pt1000, PTC1000 or NTC5000 from Danfoss
• day/night operating mode
• dual thermostat
• alarm thermostat with time delay defrost

defrost

• electric, natural or hot gas
• start of defrost initiated via DI input, periodically or by time relay (RTC)
• depending on needs
• end of defrost depends on defrost end time or temperature
• defrost coordination

compressor

• protection against too frequent compressor starts
• 16A heavy-duty relays for compressor connection, no need for intermediate relay

two-state inputs

• start of defrost, door switch, change to night mode operation, main switch, device washing, alarm, defrost coordination, double thermostat

fan

• fan start delay after defrost
• fan stop when compressor is switched off
• fan stop at high temperature of S5 sensor
• lighting function
• day/night mode, door switch, data network
