The controller is used to regulate the temperature in refrigeration appliances located in supermarkets. Thanks to the many predefined applications, one device provides several options. The device is characterized by flexibility, both when operating new installations and when operating installations already operating in the refrigeration industry.

Principle of operation

The controller contains a temperature controller that can receive a signal from one or two temperature sensors.

The thermostat sensors are placed in the cold air stream after the evaporator, in the hot air stream just before the evaporator, or in both of these streams. The setting determines the desired amount of influence of the two signals on the controller.

The defrost temperature can be measured directly with sensor S5 or indirectly with sensor S4. Four relays turn the required functions on and off - the application determines which. The following options are available:

• Cooling (compressor or valve)

• Defrost
• Rail heaters
• Alarm
• Lighting
