DANFOSS AKCC250 084B8524 Controller

The controller is used for temperature control in refrigeration of supermarket appliances. With many predefined applications, one device offers many options. Flexibility has been planned for new installations and for servicing the refrigeration industry.

The controller includes a temperature controller, in which the signal can be received from one or two temperature sensors.

The thermostat sensors are placed either in the cold air stream after the evaporator, in the warm air stream just before the evaporator, or in both cases. The setting determines how much influence these two signals have on the control.

The defrost temperature measurement can be obtained directly via sensor S5 or indirectly via measurement S4. Four relays will switch the required functions on and off – the application determines which. The options are:

• Cooling (compressor or relay)
• Fan
• Defrost
• Railway heating
• Alarm
• Light
• Hot gas defrost fans
• Cooling 2 (compressor 2 or relay 2)
