Your air conditioning system is only as effective as the two components controlling superheat.

Effective superheat control depends on a pair of components that continuously adapt to your exact performance requirements: a fast-acting electronic expansion valve and an intelligent, accurate superheat controller. That’s why Danfoss has jointly designed the new ETS 6 electronic expansion valve and the EIM 336 superheat controller. Sometimes good things really do come in pairs. Both are designed to help you tune your systems in a cost-effective way. The ETS 6 valve, together with the EIM 336, can be used in air conditioning units with evaporator capacities from 3 kW to 37 kW.

Because the EIM 336 controls the ETS 6 in microsteps, it provides a smooth superheat curve and reduced noise. With the EIM 336 and the appropriate ETS 6 valve, a maximum operating pressure difference (MOPD) of up to 45 bar can be achieved.
