Application

The TLEX series thermostatic expansion valves are used in systems with one or multiple refrigerant circuits, particularly in mass-produced equipment such as heat pumps, chillers, freezers, ice and cream makers, and compact refrigeration and air conditioning units.

Installation

  • Valves can be installed in any position.
  • It is recommended to install the sensor in the upper front section of the horizontal suction line; never install the sensor behind the shut-off valve. For all thermostatic valves, it is advised to insulate the sensor to prevent ambient temperature effects.
  • If ice formation occurs on the side of the installed thermostatic sensor, it is recommended to use a clamp available as an accessory for expansion valves.
  • During soldering, ensure the valve temperature does not exceed 100 °C.
  • Do not bend or crimp the sensor during installation!
  • Modifications to the valve construction are prohibited.
