FCCST Aquafilter Water Softener Cartridge

Water softening cartridge with ion exchange granulate. Removes calcium and magnesium ions from water, replacing them with harmless sodium ions. Recommended for protecting household appliances, heating systems and plumbing installations from the accumulation of calcium and magnesium deposits (scale).

Fits most 10-inch cartridge housings - used in pipe housings and under-sink filters.

The softening cartridges contain fine-grained ion exchange granulate with a high capacity to exchange calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions. Water flowing in through one end of the cartridges and flowing out the other, penetrates the entire bed of ion exchange granulate, ensuring its maximum effectiveness. The cartridges have their own final filter, preventing granulate particles from escaping from the filter.
